Supervised care before and after school
(ETC) Program
The Extended Time Care (ETC) program at Maumee Valley Country Day School is an extension of the school’s mission, 愿景, and philosophy. We provide an adult-supervised, fun-filled environment w在这里 students have the opportunity to study, 玩游戏, and hang out with classmates before and after school.
ETC is an elected service and t在这里 is no registration fee, but we do ask that families submit a registration form before a child attends ETC.
ETC before school
T在这里 is no fee for attending before-school ETC. The service begins at 7:30 a.m. and concludes at 8 a.m. when children are taken to their regular classrooms. No snacks are provided during before-school care, so please ensure your child has had a healthy breakfast.
ETC after school
After-school ETC is fee based at $9 per hour. A $1 per minute late fee is charged after 6 p.m. for each child. Charges are applied monthly to student billing accounts. The service begins at 3 p.m. and concludes at 6 p.m. and includes a snack. Students may go out onto the playground during ETC, so please ensure they have weather-appropriate clothing if using the ETC program.
In after-school ETC, attendance is taken once the student arrives. If your child usually goes to the carline after school but a family member forgets or is late for pick up, the child is taken to ETC and checked in. You are charged for any time the student is in our care after school. All after-school students are checked out and dismissed at Door 5. This ensures we know w在这里 all students are at all times.
Express Pick Up
Need to get w在这里 you are going quickly? Express Pick Up allows you to call ahead in anticipation of your scheduled arrival. We will have your child ready and waiting at Door 5. Here’s how it works:
- Call our desk at 567-661-0170 and an ETC team member will answer the phone.
- Identify yourself and tell us who you are picking up.
- Please give us your name and the relationship to the student so we can verify you have been approved for pick up;
- Pull up to the entrance of Door 5.
